Winners and highlights from our previous three festivals have been compiled together to form an extraordinary short film program. With our lineup of 22 short films, you can put together the film program of your choice. Our diverse high-quality short film program is a carefully curated mix of fiction, animation and documentary films that have been recognised both nationally and internationally. Our goal is that all people have the opportunity to experience sophisticated cinema. All films are provided with Subtitles for the hearing impaired and Audio Descriptions for the visually impaired. This is done to create an easy all inclusive cinema experience. The venue should also be accessible to users of wheelchairs. The offers listed here pertain exclusively for barrier-free screenings. If you are interested, please send a link of your selected films. Our offer includes your film selec-tion with the rights to the agreed performance in a digital format (DCP). Here are exact instructions to follow for the use of the app GRETA:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • GRETA is free to download from App Store or Google Play<\/li>\n
  • Launch the app and select BUTTERFAHRT – then download the appropriate Audio Description.<\/li>\n
  • First time users of the app must register to sign in. \u2022 Once registered, you are now ready for the cinema.<\/li>\n
  • If you want to hear the Audio Description for the film, just use your own headphones at the cinema. You can start GRETA by pressing Play in the movie selection \u201cButterfahrt\u201d.<\/li>\n
  • Now you can sit back and enjoy. The app automatically detects the respective movie screening and runs the Audio Description in sync with the film as it plays.<\/li>\n
  • A helpful note for all Audio Description users: As long as the app “hears” a heartbeat, then sound is played. When the app syncs, you’ll recognise this by a short signal given.<\/li>\n
  • You can pause the Audio Description at any time, or synchronise it manually.<\/li>\n
  • Synchronising with the movie sound takes about 3-7 seconds. With loud ambient noise, this time can extend a bit – the app syncs securely and is a stable dependable feature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Tip for Audio Description Users:<\/strong> The most suitable headphones for this application are the earbuds which are generally included with most smartphones. With one ear you are able to hear the Audio Description, with the other ear you can dive into the full cinematic sound. When you first open the app (iOS), it is necessary to allow access to your microphone in order for it to function properly.<\/p>\n
