The everyday life of a retirement home unfolds in a hidden place. The residents come to life while time seems to stand still. Some are active, others rest or follow a fixed schedule that repeats every day: medication, meals, games… Around them machines are flashing, caregivers are busy and crucifixes are reminders of death. Time is passing and nearby is a sprawling forest.
