Illustrated with fairytale-like sand paintings, the film dives into the hidden world of Veronika. She is autistic and physically disabled. Nobody could imagine that Veronika has such a bright mind. As an adult, she has learned to make herself understood through an elaborate sign language system. A sensitive portrait of an unusual human being.
