In a hidden place, the daily routine of a retirement home unfolds. The residents come to life while time seems to stand still.
Some are active, others rest or follow a fixed schedule to be repeated each day: medication, meals, games… Around them machines are flashing, caregivers are busy and crucifixes remind them of death. Time fades away and nearby a forest stretches out.

In our BE-IN international Corner, we show films from our European partner festivals.
The exciting thing is that we will not hear the audio description in German but in the local language of the different festivals. All films are without dialogues. BE-IN!
KLAPPOMAT – Installation
On all three days of the festival, our experiment box, the KLAPPOMAT, can be tested. It has not become a box, but a black tent. Certainly the smallest cinema in the world.

Alone or double team, it goes into the Wunderbox. On royal chairs and equipped with headphones and microphone… its your turn! Make your own audio description – live and recorded.
There is a HIGHSCORE – a list of the best. Who will probably do the best description? We will announce that during the award ceremony.
Award Ceremony
Tonight, the five-member jury will award three prizes. We will find out who won the Audience Award.
